Camp John Marc is looking for individuals to join our weekend kitchen staff who are team players, have the ability to work a flexible schedule, follow directions, and work independently. Once your application has been received and reviewed, we will let you know if you have been selected for a phone screening or interview (virtually or in person).
Criteria for Employment:
- Transportation to/from camp.
- Be able to safely lift 50 lbs. (with/without reasonable accommodation).
- Be legally eligible for employment in the US (proof of citizenship/immigration status will be required upon employment).
- Clear a criminal background check (individuals 18 years old and older).
- Kitchen Only:
- Food Handler’s certification; Camp John Marc will help you acquire this certification (if you do not already have it).
- Cook: be at least 18 years old
- Dishwasher: be at least 15 years old
- Housekeeping: be at least 15 years old
- Facility: be at least 16 years old with a current driver’s license
Fall 2024 Weekends (September 6-November 17, 2025) and Spring 2025 Weekends (February 28-May 11, 2025)
Kitchen: Cooks ($13-15/hour) and Dishwashers ($9-11/hour)
Responsibilities:
- To prepare and manage healthy meal service.
- To maintain an organized and clean kitchen.
- To maintain and use commercial-grade kitchen equipment.
- To work cohesively with other cooks and dishwashers.
Summer 2025 Weekdays (May 12-August 1, 2025)
Facility Assistant ($10-12/hour) Responsibilities
- To maintain an organized and well run campground.
- To drive an ATV and run trash for all cabins and common spaces.
- To assist with day to day facility repairs or issues.
- To work cohesively with other housekeeping and facility staff.
